'The Gang' is done!

'The Gang' is finally finished. I started it on 23rd March & finished it on 16th August 2006. For me, this is a record!

In my last entry I typed that I didn't like this project because it was insipid-coloured. Well, it's not as bad as I thought now that the grid lines are gone. I'm going to wash it and get it framed and hang it in the spare room for a few months to see if it grows on me a bit more before I do another 'Popcorn'.

And now for a dive into my stash pile. What's next ... ?

Blissful stitching to one and all.

That is seriously cute! how large a stash pile do you have to dive through? LOL and do you have anything started that you want to finish?

I'm back working on 'Frederick the Literate' for the moment. He's my 'project when I'm not doing a project' - lots of easy sstitching. I want to do a BAP called 'Oriental Splendour' for our newly-painted master bedroom next, but I'll wait until school vacation to start it.

I love your finish! I appreciate your comment on my blog. You inquired about the Rose Garden pattern. It atppeared in the Sept/Oct. 1989 issue of Cross Stitch & Country Crafts magazine. This magazine is out of print, but you may can find it on Ebay. The pattern was also reprinted in 1991 by Better Homes & Gardens. One place I found it available is Craft Stop online.
