The green gridding has made a huge impact on my stitching. In the past (because I rarely do small projects), I've started one project after another simply because I ran out of wherewithall to count tens of stitches left and right, up and down without the paranoia of miscounting. Nowadays, it's easy. I count bold lines up and out from the centre to the square I'm looking for and then away I go!
Having said that green gridding makes stitching easier, this project is hard labour. I lie! Once you get the hang of the longstitch, which I loathe, it's not, but I want to start stitching my NEW projects! Still, I want to finish this UFO, so I keep going. Am I sending mixed messages or what, not to mention not quite following my project's advice? LOL I'm putting this project away for a few days, so I will see how I feel when I come back to it.
Anyway, dear readers, I'm off to Singapore on Thursday - five glorious days with DH who is already up there conferencing. I'm not taking my stitching. I want a break so that I can dive into a whodunit. For more info, check out my 'Daily Bliss' tomorrow.
Happy stitching!

It's looking good Bliss.
Have a great trip. By the time you get back DH & I will have left for a week in Europe. DH has to go there on business & we've decided to combine it with a short visit to DS & DD.

I've never tried gridding and since most of my projects are large, I really should!
Enjoy your trip!!
Wow - Singapore, you lucky thing! I hope you have a fabulous time. Keep persevering with the Dreamcatcher - it's looking brill from here! x
You lucky girl.. I hope you enjoy your break and have fun with DH,
I myself just came back from Indiana & Kentucky.
We certainly do seem to have a lot in common. I noticed you have Hang on Kitty done (that was a fun quick stitch) and that you like Disney (my favorite is Tigger). Also, I have Fredrick in my stash to do as well (although I haven't started him yet).
Dream Catcher is turning out lovely, I really like the saying on it. Have a good time in Singapore. What whodonit did you take with you? I also love to read and enjoy checking out new authors.

Hi Bliss. Guess you should be back home by now. I didn't hear from you since the message you left at my blog. Did you manage to buy your floss in Singapore?
Nope. Didn't find a single place anywhere to buy what I was looking for. Disappointing ++
Good luck on finishing your project. You can do it!
