Frederick the Literate - Stitching again!

According to Margaret there are 1548 'X's necessary to complete the bottom shelf of Frederick's bookcase - and she has stitched each and every one of them.

This announcement was just the wakeup call that I needed to get stitching again because I must confess that I haven't worked on Fred for months.

Here's where I am up to. The good news is that I had already stitched every one of those 1548 stitches.

The goal is to finish all the red books in the lower right corner in the next few weeks. Otherwise, I'm not going to be finished before Christmas.

Happy stitching everyone.

Bliss

Wow you've gotten so much done on Fred.

After finding my cat asleep in the bookcase last week I really should pull my Fred out and work on him again.

That looks great. You've done a great job, can't wait to see it all done. TFS

Fred is looking just fine! He looks so real...
About your comment on my blog: the new French Pdt is hardly better than the Front National: he collected almost all of their votes. He is very very "right wing"...
And his rival was a woman: it would've been great to have a woman. The fact that I share most of her concerns: family, ecology... made her my ideal candidate. That's it...
Take care, Bliss!

You are further along than I am Bliss. Need to get my needle moving in order to catch up.
'Love' looks great and must be a joy to work on.

Hey Bliss - I've been an awful blogger these last few weeks. I'm sorry I missed your Birthday, so a very belated 'Happy Birthday' to you! Fred is looking rather splendid. Keep up the excellent work xxx

Happy Birthday!
both your current projects are looking terrific! It is good to have small goals when doing large projects, then they do not seem so overwhelming!
