Frederick the Literate - Frog Attack!

Remind me that it's not wise to go from working on white 26 ct evenweave to working on black 14/16ct aida fabric -> particularly at night. I think I'm gonna go blind. LOL

Oops! LOL. I've never attempted black fabric although I have got some kits in my stash that use black. I guess it's hard work heh?

NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!

Tell me this isn't true!

I thought I was the special one with the froggies. Well, if I must share, I will!

Pretty soon your 70% will be 100% and a happy dance!

Take care Bliss!

Black fabric (when one hasn't worked on it for a while) is truly something to work on in daylight hours. LOL. This, of course, means that it will be soon possible to start a new project to work on after dark. Yeah, right! Any excuse! LOL

You sound like me when I went from working on 40ct fabric to 28 count. I kept thinking everything was out of wack and messy. Hope you didn't have to frog to much out.

40 count? 28 count is bad enough!Gulp!!!!!! Girl, what you gone done to your eyesight! I spent this morning trying to work out how to grid linen. I think I'm going to give up. I can't find a warp or weft. Grrrr!

Want to know a secret? I didn't stitch on Fred yesterday as I wanted to watch the finale of 'So You Think You Can Dance' and it was easier to do just straight forward stitching on Autumn's skirt (no black fabric there). Now that I've read about those happy frogs at your house and Berta's I feel somehow I've been saved from them.

I promise to be a true Fred girlfriend next week.

Haha! Too funny, Margaret. At least you still have eyesight to stitch. I tried stitching some 32ct olive material yesterday. I was down at the LNS this morning to buy a piece of 28ct to dye olive. I'm too old for 32ct, even if it is fashionable.

The Love piece is absolutely gorgeous!! I know you're anxious to get it framed! And Frederick the Literate looks great, too! You have really been busy and are really doing some great work! I keep seeing Fred every time I go to Michael's, but I know I could never finish something that industrious!! But I do think of you and all the others who are stitching him when I see the kit!! Have a great day!

Oh no, I'm sorry the frogs came to visit. Although your picture of them is adorable, I'm sure you'd much rather never have met them. Hopefully you can get back on track without to much more aggrevation.

Frederick looks like a fun stitch. Enjoy your stitching time with him. Love With a Capital L is so very pretty. Good job on that!

The frogs only came for an evening, though for a few hours there I thought I would be cross eyed for life (just kidding). All's well & back on track. I've a super busy week this week (hopefully meaning that I will have a kitchen by Friday) so may not have a chance to post a picture, but I'll try.
