If I Sew Fast Enough, Does it Count as Aerobic Exercise?

Collecting the stash and telling yourself that you are going to work on a project is well and good. However, like the novel you have to read for next week's Year 12 English class or the 20 bars of music you need memorised for Friday afternoon, the best way to get started is to simply begin.

So began my first blog, on this day in 2006. I picked up my needle and began. I've had a simply marvelous time stitching and corresponding with others who follow the same interests. I have also learned heaps about life's perspectives (what's important, what's not) and how computers work.

Thank you for encouraging me with my creations. Thank you for your friendships. Thank you for helping make my life fuller and more interesting. Your contributions & online companionship have been much appreciated.

This week starts the beginning of a whole new way of life here at Castle Bliss (renovations are on hold for the year - our New Year's resolution - and I quit my uni course last Friday). When I get my ducks in a row (after the Autumn clean), I will have a grab-bag of stash bits and pieces on offer. If you are a regular visitor, and you have commented on my blog before, put your name in the hat and in a month, on April 23, I will draw out a name.

Happiness & laughter to one and all,

Felicity

Happy blogiversay, wow, from 2006 that's quite an accomplishment. I'd love to be in your drawing. Hang in there is so cute, I've done that one too. Queen of the Seas is looking great, and Harry and Lucy looked so cute laying there together, fun picture.

Hang in there is so cute.

I too have found the the companionship through blogging and on-line groups re-assuring too.
It's amazing how much support can be found at times of need from the others on-line.
