Happy Dance No 3. 2009

Thank you everyone for your encouraging comments after my last blog entry. They were most appreciated. A hearty thanks too for the blog award from Olenka and for the offer of a chart from Molly in Wales. I was blown away by your generosity. I don't have an email address for either of you to send a thank you note. Could you use my email envelope on the side to send me details of your coordinates, please?

The purpose of this blog entry is to show off my latest finish - Lettres à Mon Chat.

Before you scroll, meet the Blissful stitching team, folks. Never think that cross stitch is a solitary activity here at Castle Bliss. Believe you me, I'm never alone! I have 'helpers' who should be acknowledged. LOL

Gypsy supervises the stitching. She rarely misses a trick (or the chance to wave a paw at a piece of floss).

On the other hand, Lucy & Harry tend to slacken off now and again.
I suspect that Harry stole my magnifying glasses, last week, because The MOTH found them outside on the back veranda with suspicious chew marks and scrapes. How do I know it was him? He looked far more guilty than Lucy. LOL

What a star. So did those poor tired doggies get up and participate in the happy dance? Love the story about your glasses. I am currently looking for a model stitched scissor fob that I suspect that Harry or Millie might have helped themselves to. I hope not as it is gorgeous.
I should mention that I love the finish. It would fit beautifully into my house as well you know.

I really want this chart... where did you buy it from or can I trade you for yours? I have no clue where in North America (I'm trying to avoid purchasing overseas) to get Isabelle Vauthier's stuff.

I love the varigated letters and solid cats!
