Melbourne Cup 2011
Congratulations to Dunaden – winner of the 2011 Emirates Melbourne Cup! Living up to expectations, this year’s Melbourne Cup was a spectacular day of racing, fashion & entertainment!
Cross Stitch Collection issue 199 featured the first part of this huge racecourse design by Sandy Littlejohns and Deborah Lester (above). I love it!
Happiness & laughter to one and all,
Felicity

What a great picture. What a beautiful piece this will be. Are you going to stitch it Felicity?
How are things in Perth? Have you received my letter?
Margaret...I was going to ask that very question! lol It's a beautiful piece but looks challenging! Glad you enjoyed the day at the races.
Probably not! Or not before my 91st birthday. There is so much other stash to stitch before then. LOL
I loved looking over your blog, I think I will have to go buy that LHN pattern traveling stitcher, I like that, I like the sweater and color you chose, I am 60 rows to finishing the afghan from hell, hoping to get it done and take it to Mason next month. Been busy with guild and knitting group, and I think Felix is cute and adorable. Nice pictures of the girls and David. Paul has a nice smile, and Felicity I treasure as a friend.
