Socks for The Birthday Girl

The Living Doll (my middle daughter) had a birthday, this week.
I knitted her some socks.

More Socks

I'm out to finish off a few projects before I start a new one. I'm still working on top-down socks, so if you have any hints for not-so-tight cast-ons, dear readers, I'd much appreciate it.
I'd also appreciate yarn suggestions which are not self striping.

My latest finish

My current pair will eventually look like these beauties. 😊

A Scarf & Hat for Felix

I have been playing with double knitting.
I have been knitting this scarf (on & off) for a while. His fave colour was yellow, when I started, but it's now blue. It's not the world's best example, but it is a functional first.
Felix loves it, and that's what matters.
The glasses case he is holding is 'faux dinosaur skin' in his favourite colour.
It contains a couple of kilt pins to keep his scarf safely in place.

Happiness & laughter to one and all,

Hello Winter!

I love the cooler Temperate climate of Western Australia's winter. I think that I'm going to have to retire to Toowoomba, QLD, when we return East.

Since Lucy was born in Toowoomba, there is no surprise that she loves the cooler weather.
Fortunately, Paul & Harry are wonderful personal trainers. We get out walking once, sometimes twice, a day, atm.

Happiness & laughter to one and all,
