I’m working on a top-down sock recipe that suits the feet of the women of my family for whom I knit. 

My method is knitting 2 at a time using 3 circular knitting needles for each sock. 

I’m past the age of wanting to use short needles or simply just one long needle. 

While they are fine for others, I’m all about keeping my elderly hands functioning for as long as possible. 

I don’t find other methods ergonomic.

WIP Wednesday

I'm working on a hand-knitted pair of socks.

These are done in plain & long-print yarns by Drops Fabel Sock Wool.

I like them to match.

After-thought Heal Socks

I am still using up yarn by making socks.

This is my first after-thought heal sock. It's also my first attempt at making anklet socks. 

It needs a few ends stitched in and blocking, but I'm very proud of the effort.

Socks for The Birthday Girl

The Living Doll (my middle daughter) had a birthday, this week. 

I knitted her some socks.

More Socks

I'm out to finish off a few projects before I start a new one. I'm still working on top-down socks, so if you have any hints for not-so-tight cast-ons, dear readers, I'd much appreciate it.

I'd also appreciate yarn suggestions which are not self striping.
