Thanks everyone for your encouragement on this project.
I really appreciate it.
This is how it looked at the end of February when I last posted my progress.
This is Dinosaur Alphabet today.
I've been busy trapsing the countryside, sure,
but the project is also a 'labour of love' at the moment.
I've got so many other things I want to stitch!
Cross your fingers, close your eyes tight and wish speedy but accurate and happy stitching vibes my way.
If you really want to know what I've been up to, apart from Felix events, press my Daily Bliss blog link to the left.
Happiness & laughter to one and all,
Felicity

Felix's Baptism

Felix wasn't too pleased with the ceremony but ...
He loved the symbolic tree planting ceremony ...
Held at his paternal grandparents' farm afterward.
Proud Maternal Grandad
An event which brought happiness & laughter to one and all,
Felicity

P.S. The planned birth sampler (which I'll start as soon as the dinosaur alphabet is finished will be very appropriate because of the First Sunday in Lent Readings.

Dinosaur Alphabet - Update No. 3
Cute, isn't it?
A Gift from a dear Friend
Earlier in the week, I went to the post office where I found this lovely kit sent by Berta.
One of these days, Margaret, Berta. & I will meet somewhere with a fabulous view and cement our online friendship with lots of talk, a little stitching and a Mad Tea Party!

Dinosaur Alphabet - Update 2
Each Wednesday, I go to a stitching group and, like with this blog, do a 'show and tell'.
I have a lot of fun at these stitch-ins and it keeps me motivated.
The colours are in my new sampler aresimply gorgeous - what I describe as 'jewel colours'.
Good news! The temperatures have fallen from 42.5C to 28C.
Life is bareable again!
Thanks everyone for your 'comment encouragement' of recent times.
It has been much appreciated that you take the time to call in.
Off topic: How does my blog template look to you?
Has it a big blank space at the top?
It's really weird because in 'preview' when I try to fix it up it doesn't have it.
Hence, I'm having difficulties in fixing the problem.
I'm reluctant to change the template to a blogger template.

My Personal Finishing Challenges

Becky Bee's Stitching Hive is hosting a BAP Challenge.
Those who complete the challenge will have their name added to a drawing for a $100.00 gift certificate from the ONS of Becky’s choice.
I think Becky's BAP Challenge is a great motivator even though I'm not going to join.
I've got so many projects on the go that I really shouldn't start another one!

Two years ago, I joined a SAL with Margaret and Berta. The year before that, we did the 'Frederick the Literate' SAL. The girls were such an inspiration.
I should finish my chairs before I commit to something new.
I should also finish these...

Panda Days

Mermaids of the Deep Blue

Grand Marquoir
And this ...

It's a Dinosaur Alphabet for Felix
