Planning 2007

I recently read another cross stitcher's blog and the meme was '25 Questions About Your Cross Stitching Life'. There were three important questions which got me thinking : 'How many Works In Progress do you have at this time?'; 'How many UFOs do you have at this time?' and 'How many cross stitch charts/kits/mags do you own?'

Thinking lead me to planning my stitching for the next year or so. Next year or so? Come on, Felicitas! This will take you until you are 55 years old to complete. What the hell? Let me be adventurous for once! What's the good of having stash if I can't enjoy blissfully creating with it, even if it is in my dreams? LOL

The other thing that came to mind is the COST of the stash and waste of money if I don't start planning definitive actions to use up that stash. It's terrifying!

Anyway, here are the two (rather adventurous) lists. The first is the current WIPs which need finishing (I'm a great starter); the second is the list of things I want to get done by Christmas 2007.

Must Finish List - this a fair amount of work
1. Pooh's Seasons -
2. Frederick -
3. French Flower Shop -
4. Dalmations -
5. Peace -

2007 & Onwards - Very adventurous!
(I can't start anything new until the Pooh Sampler is finished. I will be extremely pleased if I get the first three done next year)
1. Seasons of the Heart (Charles Wysocki)
2. Gathering Honey
3. The Rose Garden
4. The Bremen Town Musicians (Prairie Schooler) - for my son, David.
5. Bliss Fairy (Mirabillia)
6. Petal Fairy (Mirabillia)
7. Mermaids of the Deep Blue (Mirabillia)
8. Knight Errant

Good luck with the plan. I can't plan that far ahead myself. Tried it once (didn't work out so well)

The catch is that if I don't plan at all, I won't stitch nearly enough. I'm pacing myself this way.

What a great new stitching stand!!

I've been thinking along the same lines... so much stash that needs to be stitched! So, I'm trying to plan my stitching more than I've done in the past. We'll see how it goes LOL.

Wow! Three Mirabilia's in one year! I'll be lucky if I can finish one, and I don't have any other WIPs. I think you can do it :)

WOW...you are thinking ahead!
Good lcuk with all your projects. I have added your blog to my list of favourites, so I can pop in from time to time to see how you are going with it all.
Now I feel as thought i should be getting along with my goals....but only for the rest of the year! LOL
