Sometimes the Dragon Wins

p>

I guess if you can't stitch then the next best thing is to re-stash. I've got my eye on a few bits & pieces. I like this one in particular - he's kind of symbolic.

Wait a moment! Hold the visa card! Whatever happened to that resolution to quit stitching in 5 years time? It's called a 'wishlist' because you want it but are not buying it.

Actually, I'm just dreaming. I'm neither buying nor stitching because I can't find anything anymore under the rubble of what was once my house. The renovations have finally been designated a nightmare & we are thinking of moving out until the new kitchen gets installed in 40 more days (for more news, visit my Daily Bliss blog).

Some good news though, I have started eldest princess's cardigan. Fortunately, her birthday isn't until 13th August. It'll probably appear here some time in September when I find the scanner.

Until next time, stay well & have fun stitching.

Bliss

I'm sorry the renovations are causing such disruptions. That would be so frustrating to have to keep dealing with it on an everyday basis. Hopefully it gets done sooner than anticipated and turns out even lovelier than anticipated in the end. Looking forward to seeing the cardigan when you post a picture.

I remember so well the mess renovations make. Hopefully, it'll be cleared up soon. :)

Hi Bliss!
I wanted to thank you for your kind comments on my blog. Somehow, I hadn't managed to bookmark you on my puter but this is done now.
I'm sorry that you also have nightmares, the fact that they imply people we love who do not behave the way we expect them to is "destabilizing"... I think you're right to treat them the way you do though sometimes, these nihtmares are my whole day's companions. Not good...
You're making huge progress on Fred! Not a piece of cake...
I think you're right with the frames too: better get them all at the same time...
One last question: do you seriously intend to stop stitching in five years' time? Why?
And finally: bon courage for the renovations. It's always hard to go through these, but such satisfaction afterwards...
Take care!
Lili

It's time to let that dragon loose on all Australian kitchen contractors!! Poor you - living with this mess. Will check Daily Bliss to further catch up.
Try to keep smiling Bliss.

Hi Bliss, I can't believe you are still without a kitchen. Love the Twin set that you Ma in law knitted you. I enjoy looking at your stitching updates.
