A Stitching Post, at last!

Thank you again, dear friends, for your wonderful support in these difficult times. I've been feeling a wee bit down about the whole sorry state of things lately (quelle surprise). Your wonderful & cheering messages have been much appreciated. I've moved all my non-stitching related entries over to my Daily Bliss site so that we can concentrate on some serious stuff: the stitching.

I went back to the family home to visit The Cadet Princess a couple of weekends ago, and snapped some stitching pics which hang on the walls and doors of the house. I did birth samplers for the royal family many years ago as well as door plaques for each bedroom. The crown prince took his cute door plaque with him, so it's hanging with his Bremen Town Musicians sampler I stitched a couple of years ago.

Meanwhile, the bathroom reno continues as if the floods didn't happen as it is on the opposite side of the hallway to the damage. I'll post those pics another time.

Happiness & laughter to one and all,

Bliss

I listed this site a few days ago in my blog...best blog ever!!! I've already made three items from it. The pizza soup was by far the best....LIQUID PIZZA!!!!

What fun pieces, my favorites were the Suzy Zoo ones. Your new one is looking lovely too, beautiful coloring. Good luck with the renovation and flood cleanup, you certainly have your hands full.

I am not surpised in the least, I bet you have wept buckets and added to the water damage, but I am glad you are sounding more positive now Felicity.

Nice to look back on old stitched pieces though it makes me realise when I do it how much my tastes have changed.

You have done loads on the mermaid and I am sure she is just as beautiful if she is swimming upside down.
