WIP Wednesday

I have four small granddaughters so I’m having fun making dresses for birthdays & Christmas.

Birthday dress for 3 yr old Ariel

I can’t say that I love the cutting and taping of patterns, but that how it’s done, these days.

I’m making a Sweetheart Dress from Etsy

The Anker cardigan is progressing nicely.
It’s lots of rows of knitting and nothing much else.
The colour is really lovely.

Knitting Fun

I started knitting the adult jumper while I was still in my 20s.
It took me 10 years because there wasn’t a need for it.
I eventually gave it to Miranda to take to Finland & Nepal.
Here she is pictured with her youngest son who is wearing another Felicity creation.

Diana wore this same sweater in 2013, in NZ.

I can finally post pictures of my epic knitting project now that the recipient has received it.
Diana loves it!

Knitting & Pets

Now that you’ve got 252 stitches, knit another 78 rows.

With 2 projects on the go like this, winter will be over before I’m done.

Zoë will keep me company.

Aran Knitting

I'm still on a knitting kick.
I have just finished a very cute beanie for my grandson.

Today, however, I'm featuring this beautiful jumper that I knitted some years ago. I still love it!
In this photo, my Diana is wearing it while on vacation to New Zealand. It has been a well-travelled wardrobe item, having also travelled with Miranda on a number of occasions to Finland and to Nepal. Gabriella also wore it while trekking in Tasmania.

Happiness & laughter to one and all,
Felicity
